FREE MUTUAL EXCHANGE FORUM FOR COUNCIL AND HOUSING ASSOCIATION TENANTS

HOUSESWAPFORUM is a FREE online Mutual Exchange website for Local Authority and Housing Association Tenants. Anyone who has expressed a wish to move and approached their Landlords has always had to wait for several years before a suitable Property is offered.

HOUSESWAPFORUM offers a unique way of seeking and advertising an exchange, and is completely free to post your exchange.  Registration is a simple process and unlike other sites, we allow you to browse our listings withour having to register first!. Registration is only required if you wish to reply to an advertised exchange or place up to four of your own, Completely free of charge.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

FIRSTLY! Houseswapforum has a unique system for the ads that are placed in the forum! and some of you may find it confusing to use at first, so lets try and explain how it works here! Each forum in the exchange section represents a county and has the followings sections:

"I LIVE IN A:  1 bed, 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed" and "I WOULD LIKE A: 1 bed, 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed".

Lets say for example you live in a two bed house in Cheshire and you wish to move to three bed house in Dorset. Scroll down the forums until you reach CHESHIRE, Click "I LIVE IN A..........." now choose the type of property you have.  It's as simple as that!

Now anyone seeking "a two bed property in Cheshire" should find your ad!  In addition, you may place another three ads in areas you are seeking, in the "I would like a....." sections in each forum. In this example we are seeking a "three bed house" in "Dorset".  So just copy your original ad and place it in the "Dorset" forum under "I would like a "Three bed property".  You can place up to 3 extra ads in this way.

This method may seem complicated but it's quite simple. It means once your ads are in place, you only need to look for the latest posts and replies in the areas you are interested in!  Set up your profile to receive email updates and you will be notified of any new properties being exchanged!  Everytime you login you will see only the new ads and not have to worry about looking at the old ones!

Why is Houseswapforum a good Choice?

Because we use a unique method of placing and searching for ads, which means you only need look at the sections you need. the rest of the site you will be able to "Collapse", so you only see what you want to see.  We also keep you up to date with all the latest news, and keep you informed of any replies to your posts.

Our Service is provided completely free of charge and run by a host of Volunteer staff. We also actively remove  non posters as we believe that  all members should contribute to the site and not just to wait to see a good exchange posted and then pounce.  All members are required to post their exchange or they will automatically be delete from our database.  In the last 3 years alone we have deleted over 1600 Non posters from the site. The is no point whatsoever having non active members on a site. The figures look good but in reality, others shout about the amount of members they have, we take you by the hand and get to know you a little via our interactive chatrooms. There are games available as well in our own arcade and a few extra topics like THE GOOD FOOD GUIDE and COMPUTER DOCTOR for help with your Pc.

Best wishes with your search!
